We care about sustainability of all our products. That is why we only work with the best UK manufacturers who care about the environment as much as we do. Our wallpapers and fabrics are printed to order which minimises any waste. The paints we offer are made by the amazing eco paint brand Victory Colours.

Non-woven wallpaper – Environmental Benefits.

Non Woven Base – 45% of Non Woven is wood pulp (cellulose fibres), which is a natural fibre, which is completely biodegradable and comes from FSC certified Forests (well managed Forests). 15% of Non woven is polyester fibres, there is a mixture of Aliphatic (biodegradable) and Aromatic (non degradable) fibres. To summarise a high percentage of non woven is biodegradable. Non woven is also recyclable and goes into the ‘Mixed Paper Range.’

Furthermore, through its construction of Wood pulp and Polyester fibres and no top vinyl coating, it can also be described as breathable allowing the wall to breath allowing no build-up of moistures or fumes.

Printing Inks – all our inks are Acrylic and are classed as water based, non-toxic and very low in VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds). The positive characteristics of Acrylic inks are they have little or no fumes, quick drying times, environmentally safe, water clean-up and long lasting colourfastness

Fabrics

Olenka fabrics are printed using OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified ink. Fabrics is sourced responsibly from UK manufacturers and distributers. All of the fabrics have been independently tested and passed the EN71-3 chemical safety standard.

Our eco velvet fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester from recycled bottles. This vibrant polyester printing requires no water used in the printing process and uses 95% less energy than traditional textile printing. All inks meet Oeko-tex 100 requirements and pass EN71-3 certification for child safety. Printed in London, UK in a zero-to-landfill facility. All prints made using 100% renewable energy.

Eco Friendly Paint Collection

Victory Colours eco paints contain the best ingredients available, whilst avoiding a whole host of unpleasant toxins including solvents, VOCs and phthalates, formaldehyde, and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APEO), and heavy metals, amongst other things (there will always be trace elements of VOC sneaking their way in somehow but the company is eliminating them every step of the way). The paint is safe as possible for humans, and animals, it has exceptionally low odour, and creates minimal contributions to the atmosphere, whilst still having great coverage and durability in a range of beautiful up-to-date colours. Indeed, Victory Colours eco paints have been tested robustly and thoroughly by Eurofins Global for their Indoor Air Comfort Gold accreditation. Here, products are measured against the most stringent VOC Content & Emission standards. Victory Colours paints achieved best in class -Gold-for low emissions and great indoor air quality.
